A criminal mastermind known as "The Professor" assembles a crew of eight skilled thieves for a Hollywood-style heist: breaking into the Royal Mint of Spain to print 2.4 billion euros. Each member of the team, codenamed after cities, plays a crucial role in this high-stakes operation. With planning, they aim to pull off the heist without bloodshed.
As the plan unfolds, they take hostages inside the Mint while The Professor operate from the outside, using psychological tactics to outwit the police. However, as in any Hollywood thriller, things start to go wrong. Personal conflicts and unforeseen events threaten the mission, pushing the team to their limits. The Professor must stay a step ahead of the determined police inspector, Raquel Murillo, who is hot on their trail.
In true Hollywood fashion, relationships develop between the robbers and hostages, complicating the mission further. Despite the escalating tension and dramatic twists, the team fights to stay on track, using their wits to navigate the obstacles. The heist reaches a suspenseful climax, with the crew managing to escape with the money, but not without paying a heavy price that leaves everyone changed forever.
